Service Agreement

Kansas City Bathtub & Tile Reglazing hereinafter referred to as “KCR” is committed to providing 5 star service. We ask if you feel we fall short of anything less than 5 star service that we work together to reach that level of service & not disparage our reputation online or with others. The customer agrees not to disparage KCR or its employees online or with others without reaching out to KCR for a resolution first. Our reputation & our livelihood is at stake & we would rather come to a fair solution privately. KCR promises to resolve anything within industry standards. 

The customer understands KCR strives to make every job come out the best we can on the first service call. Sometimes it’s necessary to follow up at a later date and this will not prevent you from using the item. Projects with ongoing construction should schedule any service calls after all other contractors have finished their work.  

The Customer understands KCR masks off the work area for every project with masking paper, plastic, tape and that in some cases when the tape is removed damage may occur to the paint or wallpaper. Customer agrees KCR is not responsible for any damage that occurs from the work performed, including by masking materials or overspray.

The Customer agrees custom colors are not guaranteed to match swatch from manufacturer due to the sheen as well as the reflection of lighting & paint colors. If the customer chooses to switch colors it will be at their expense. 

The Customer agrees KCR does not warranty any caulking work performed by KCR. Caulking should be checked annually by the customer to prevent damage or leaks. KCR assumes no liability from any caulking work performed. 

The Customer understands and agrees that refinished surfaces are slick & pose a safety hazard. KCR will be held harmless for any injuries sustained by anyone from using the surfaces Refinished by KCR. The customer understands they can purchase an adhesive bath mat to self install to alleviate this issue. 

Customer agrees KCR will be held harmless for any water damage or plumbing issues related to our refinishing work. KCR at its sole discretion may remove plumbing fixtures and shall be held harmless for any damages to fixtures, items being refinished, water damage, or plumbing that occurs. 

Customer understands that KCR offers a 10-year warranty for residential refinishing work & a 1-year warranty for commercial refinishing work. This warranty applies to the labor & material provided by KCR. This warranty does not cover acts of god, accidental damage or other conditions that may cause refinished surfaces to fail prematurely. The customer agrees to follow the care and warranty sheets provided by KCR. 

Customer understands & agrees that KCR assumes no liability from the refinishing work performed by KCR over the amount KCR charges the customer to perform the refinishing work. In the event the amount of liability exceeds the cost of the work performed, the customer agrees to be responsible for the difference. 

Customer understands and agrees that any disputes or claims about this contract or the work performed shall be brought before a neutral arbitrator selected by Kansas City Bathtub & Tile Reglazing in Missouri. Any disputes or claims brought before an Arbitrator will be resolved using a binding arbitration process. The results of the binding arbitration process will be considered final by both parties.  

Customer agrees that if any portion of this agreement is deemed legally invalid the rest of the agreement shall remain in full legal effect. This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Missouri & the county of Jackson.
